It was a very well received meeting with a total attendance of more than 140 delegates. Dr Aseem Mishra was the organising secretary. Dr Pankaj Chaturvedi and Dr Dabholkar were national faculty. Dr Madan Kapre and Dr KK Thankappan represented ISTS faculty.

Dr Kapre, a stalwart in the field of thyroid surgery along with other renowned national faculty such as Dr Thankappan, Dr Devendra Chaukar, Dr Amit Agrawal, to name a few mentored the delegates towards nuances of thyroid surgery by means of meaningful panel discussions, lectures, fireside chats.

Participants were further encouraged through awards for best paper, video and poster presentation where more than 30 entries were received.
